Apple shows that a highly-amplified public image can be unwieldy for mere mortals. Without Steve Jobs' vision, the formidable team he created appears to circle the wagons, more easily put on the defensive than in the past.

Tremendous setbacks can be a great test for a company--look at RIM.  Ignoring everything but the numbers, though, Apple seems to be doing not too bad.

I myself had some bad experience recently with ios6 maps. However I think Apple did lay some good foundation for better maps in the future. It can only be better, perhaps next year ?
