ODM ought to face changing market and always look for new opportunities. This is cyclic phenomena and it is good that they have green pasture in server market. They may look for home server for making digital home.

It will be interesting to see how companies that market PCs to consumers market servers to IT. On one hand, they call on IT already, so it might not be a stretch. On the other hand, as you point out, no one really cares about server design, only performance. If there are still EMS companies around that aren't also ODMs, I'd be looking for cost and efficency,
