I am hearing the outlook for semicon is modest growth which is to be welcomed based on what we ahve seen in the last few years.  Good to see the stock market is doing well at last.

Brain, we heard about that semiconductor industry is going to be boom in 2013/2014. Am not sure that any scientific study or supporting evidences behind such predictions. But one thing is any natural disaster can alter the balancing system and predictions.

"First, the demand momentum at the start of 2012 failed to hold through the rest of the year."

Thomas, any particular reason for this drop down in momentum. Is it due to Thailand flood or any other global reasons behind such things?

So far so OK in 2013 and recent semiconductor numbers suggest a healthier next quarter or two.
