@DA: Thanks. Yes, we like to spend time for survey. But completing circle is very important. I like to see supplier's deicision for each major question they ask and brief reason for that.

It's really important for any suppliers to clearly understand their customer satisfaction. Doing customer surveys improves the confidence level and communicating the survey results back to customer will double this effect. Once you create impression and good will it is easy to grow.

@_hm, I think you hit upon the most significant point with regards to a supplier getting bact to the customer on the survey results. When any conversation is perceived to be one way, sooner than later, the listener will walk away and will go someplace where they can be part of the conversation. Likewise if the talker perceives the listener is not listening, the talker will eventually stop talking. Either way, there is no real communication happening. Nothing changes as a result.

It really is good idea. However, survey results should be duly taken care of to further satisfy customers. Also, survey should be more trasperant. Customer should be informed back about their views and what company is doing about that.

A regular customer survey has the potential of making customers feel that you care about their satistaction and are willing to improve their business experience with your company. I am not certain if every customer would want to take that survey, but it is definitely a good idea
