Definitely the emotions needs to be controlled in decision making but also while performing and reporting tasks. Its true even engineers needs to be in full control of their emotions if they want tobe the top performers.

I'd say you have to keep emotions out of your decision making altogether to be successful.

Very much in agreement that these are the hallmarks of a top performer.

Also a top performer has to keep emotions under control. In corporate culture, you have to be in good books of people to be termed top performer.
