Michael, Very interesting pointers. It got me thinking about how the OEM-EMS provider relationship is not unidirectional. We know what the OEM should look for in selecting a contract manufacturer. I wonder if you could touch on what the EMS provider also might pull up as a check list when considering partnering with an OEM.

Nicely written article. Definitely there will be many major things need to be considered for slecting the right EMS partner. SPcifically it is very important to understand their technical capabilities about the regula manufacturing services. A good design engineering team associated with the manufacturing testing team will be a great help to resolve some smaller technical issues.
