Indeed. You only need to listen to, or read what Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla motors, says to know the only future is in electric cars.

My newest car is a 2005 with 148k miles on it (my wiife's car). My regular work car is a 2000 with 300k miles on it, Guess I'm not on the cutting edge!
