As far as the supply chain is concerned, they need to be rejoicing because the face of technology will change when the 3D printer is incorporated in various markets. Moreover with bendable electronics, the market can look forward to a better 2014.

I am not sure that reshoring will really take hold until we change our consumption patterns.  I just read that China is getting concerned that it is losing business not because of reshoring but because companies are investing in countries like Vietnam when the average wage is one third of that in China.
