I wonder if there is something skewed in the way this list is developed that makes it more likely not to change?  Perhaps the metrics need changed to change the listing.  Interesting to see Seagate make the list though as that company went off the radar big time around 1999.

If I am right, inventory turnover is one of the criteria chosen by Gartner. If so, this definitely excludes the professional sector : aerospace, electronic equipment and many other sectors. To be the best you have just to have your products made outside your organizations instead of making parts, assembling them etc.

In addition, I am also worrying that 25% of the "points" is provided by Gartner "experts" and when considering that only American companies are ranked, I would suggest that it be renamed the " Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 of Chain of American FMCG companies".
