FORT WORTH, Texas -- Allied Electronics is gearing up to celebrate Green Week 2011, April 18-22, in honor of Earth Day 2011. Allied’s Green Week will feature a design competition, a “green” home page and “green acts.”
To encourage engineers to think green, Allied is holding a Design Green Contest. From March 15 through April 15, contestants can submit their environmentally friendly product design ideas. Winners will be announced on Earth Day, April 22, with the grand prize winner receiving a $500 American Express gift card and two runners-up each receiving a $250 ThinkGeek gift card.
