PHILADELPHIA -- PEI-Genesis, Inc., one of the world’s fastest assemblers of precision connectors and power supplies, today announced the addition of Mike Brawner as the oil & gas business development manager for North America. This newly-created position will expand the company’s ability to promote their harsh-environment and explosion-proof connector brands, such as Amphenol, ITT Cannon, TE/Deutsch, LEMO, CINCH and Dialight, as well as their proprietary explosion-proof cable assemblies, in the North American oil & gas community.
Brawner brings to PEI-Genesis more than twenty years of experience in the oil & gas connector and cable assembly industry, with a strong background specifically in the geophysical, subsea control, ROV, subsea drilling, and downhole drilling markets. He has an impressive record of achievement in delivering business value while ensuring customers’ requirements are met to the highest standards of quality and care. Prior to PEI-Genesis, Brawner held a variety of sales and product management roles at Fenner Advanced Sealing Technologies (F.A.S.T.), SeaCon Branter & Associates, Kintec, and Maloney Pipeline Products, among others.
“We are pleased to bring Mike on board. This new role is strategic to the long term development and growth of the North American oil & gas market,” said Dave Jones, director of global sales, PEI-Genesis. “Based in our Houston office, Mike will be local to our customers and suppliers to help us develop the rest of the Gulf region. His in-depth knowledge of this region, our products, services and the general challenges our customers in this market face daily makes him a perfect fit for the role. We look forward to his valuable input in the further development of our oil & gas offerings.”
