pocharle,

You have to start somewhere right?

If you believe very-very strongly that this is the right way to do it then why wait and bother with what other people are doing here?

You just go ahead and Do the Right Thing.The rest will follow naturally.

Regards

Ashish.

@pocharle: Well we do have to take a risk for sure but this will not be a permanent one. It will have its issues in the beginning but once with time it will all get solved.

@Asish,

It sounds like the chicken & egg conversation. Who starts the cycle? And can you trust that the other person will follow through? Not to mention how long before you believe it's enough?

pocharle,

You will be surprised that even today there are folks who believe in going the extra mile for their Employees.

Its just that you have to show that level of Commitment to the Company first.

They see it from you and then they deliver.

Regards

Ashish.

@tech4people,

I mention it as a pipe dream simply because owners & management's primary responsibility is the bottom line. They'll always do what's needed to keep the lights on. Everything after that is a bonus, not necessarily a requirement.

Ariella,

More than just Selling point I see it as a way for the Business to stay around in Business for a very-very long time.

Was'nt Longevity a part of what drives Owners towards setting up Businesses in the first place?

Not everyone wants to setup something and Sell out to the Highest Bidder very early.

Do they?

pocharle,

I don't think its a dream come true.

It is most definitely possible.

Just needs Time and Commitment from the Management involved if they are to succeed.

If the Management &Owners actually values the Long-term Future of their Company they really have no other way to go here.

This is the only way that makes sense currently.
