eemom - If you would like to try them out here is an inexpensive pair to try:

I myself have not tried them out but I think they are a great idea especially in the colder states.

Step 1: Take a warm pair of gloves

Step 2: Grab a box cutter

Step 3: Make tiny slits on the thumbs and index fingers

And you will have yourself a pair of touch screen gloves!

I didn't even know that these gloves existed.  I will have to look for them and check them out.  I can't tell you how many times I am in my car waiting for it to warm up a bit and text in the meantime.  I am usually freezing, the car is very cold and having to take my gloves off is a pain.  I get cold easily so the gloves would be great for me.  I wonder if they reduce smudging on the device.  I hate it when my screen is full of finger prints.

Electronics862 - I agree, I myself would like to try them since I am in Michigan but I have yet to find the need since I am not outside enough during the winter.

I think some of the larger cities, for example Chicago could really benefit from something like this.

since the price of these tocuhscreen gloves are almost equal to normal gloves people from northern hemisphere can buy these touchscreen gloves instead of buying normal ones which keep them warm in a cold weather and make them more comfortable in using their touchscreen phones etc.

The prices of these gloves are $15 - $30 for a pair which is very close to the average price of gloves.

If you are living in an area where the weather is very cold and freezing in the winter these are a good option. Of course they wouldn't be a good option for warmer states.

I agree with you Himanshugupta. I think before buying any of these gadgets - people should always consider how useful and important these devices most.

has anyone actually used these gloves to compare the comfort level of the touchscreen with and without gloves? Also how expensive are these as i can imagine that one would also want to keep the price in mind before buying them?

Its really a great innovation. Touchscreen gloves enables you to use touch-technology without taking off gloves.
These are useful in the areas like northern hemisphere where people cannot operate their touchscreens in a cold weather.
They will keep you warm at the sametime you can also enjoy using your touchscreen phone, ipad etc.
