"Moreover it helps them to save their time because they can get all the info from single website."

I'm not certain if the site can provide information about every engineering domains, but it is a pretty good concept that will be adopted by both the research community and the industry. Also the sucess of site will depend on  how suppliers provide their components' specs on a regular basis. An outdated information might lead to wrong designing decisions.

This sounds like an excellent idea. This will save countless hours of going to numerous sites and filtering through unwanted results from the search queue. Element14 should be able to make some decent headway with sales and being a stop shopping outlet. Do the research, make a design and order your parts. This should work great.

Barbara,

Brilliant idea! this will be treated as god in disguise for design engineers. If we are going to get everythin at one stop, it reduces so much effort and time.

We can say Element 14 as an ideal forum for electronic and hardware engineers. They had integrated many use full EDA tools and expert panel for clarifying the design and related doubts. More over they are showcasing many of the related products with online purchase option. In contrast we can say that, they had integrated well A-Z of the electronic industry, which can fits from component and design to final layout rooting.

it will be nice to search for something and not have to filter over so many unwanted results, in addtion this will be very helpful to have Engineers access information and share data about specific studies.

Excellent idea.

Very nice idea. I also like how this can be used for educational purposes. Do you know if they have thought about it, or even better, if they started working with an university, etc?

Thanks!

"You can get what you need all in one place, and something like this has been needed for a long time,"

This is excellent idea. I am sure this will help the design engineers to choose right component for their design. Moreover it helps them to save their time because they can get all the info from single website.

I heard that google has some sort of collaborative efforts with end users to work together on developing products. I thought that's a brilliant idea because at the end of the day, it's the users that is going to determine if they like the product or not. So we have to keep doing things to Manage Innovation.
