Both of you seem very positive about these changes and the impact it will have on the Bottomline of Apple.
I though am not so sure.
For one,if you look at all the people who hold Apple stock today-most of the Big Hedge funds/Investment houses,etc (who have the money to invest in Apple Stock)have already invested in the stock.
If they invest anymore it will be more like the Internet crazy mania we had back in the 1990s and early 2000s.
As for small shareholders(who typically always get sucked in after the boat has sailed)-God Bless them;but they are'nt really important in the greater scheme of things.
I have exactly the same thoughts as you Anna ,and furthermore it will be great if Apple distinguish them based on "fair trade" criteria and to remove companies that have bad working conditions.
I applaud Apple for setting this model of business practices, it's been long awaited after operating secretive service style for so long. Personally I don't think this move will hurt Apple. On the execution side, Apple have delivered robust products and its currently doing pretty well in the market. Yes opening up their suppliers will ultimately highlights some bad practices within the supply chain and might also help to set things straight too.
