With the latest trend, display is getting larger and flexible too. The device still fits nicely in your pocket and with a press of a button or a gesture, the display will roll out depending on the use.

Clairvoyant,

A phablet is not a tablet. It's smaller than a tablet, but bigger than a smartphone. It's something in between. Fashion designers have already started to design clothes with bigger inside pockets to carry them.

That may be the trend at the moment, however I believe consumers will still want small size phones such as Smartphones to be able to easily carry around. Smartphones can fit in a pocket, not so easy with Tablet sized phones.

Hi, Clairvoyant

Phablets will replace smartphones. Smartphone design, functionality, and usability are evolving, changing as we speak.

Hi Susan,
Why do you say that smartphones are walking the path of extinction? What would replace them?

I think it is difficult to return to small display. Prior of my current smartphone, my phone is the small-display feature phone, I can not image to browsing websites, see novels on small display phone, so tired.
