Jacob,

Basically we need to take things slowly-Slowly and incrementally .

Trying to do too much too soon is  a recipe for Disaster in the Legal Space.

"Law is changing slowly but Surely to take advantage of these issues we just need to help it all by constantly putting pressure on our Representatives in Congress to get the job done. The Less they depend on Lobbyists the better."

Asish, hope for the best.

"But the steps that need to be taken are no doubt something which has to be handled with a Great Deal of Caution and Deliberation.  It can't & should'nt move at the speed of Technology. That would be beyond foolhardy currently."

Asish, now a day's we are depending more on electronic documents, emails or even telephone for communication. But in case of any dispute judicial system won't consider any documents in similar format as evidence. In such cases, its more or less like a helpless situation

"ven that is Troublesome currently. Have you seen how easy it was for Komodo's Digital Signatures to be Hacked into and controlled by Botnets located far away from the Source of the infection? That's just the Beggining when one thinks of it. That's the primary reason why we need to be cautious pushing these things further."

Asish, that's the reason such electronic documents or signatures are not valid for judicial proceedings.

"the judicial system needs to catch up. SO much of business communication is electronic nowdays that to disregard that trend is simply foolhardy."

Hailey, they have to update the systems in accordance with technology or present age. In most of the countries, judicial systems are still working based on old manual technologies and proof collection.
