@t_Alex: Company wide is a good practice. But this is a ones personal fixation (two decades old) and I do not think good for compnay too.

certain things such as symboling it is better to enforce company wide practice to avoid misunderstanding.

You may have your own way of working. As long as you produce required output is ok.

But warn you, do force other juniors to follow your methods. They will be detrimental to their growth.

@Alex: Yes, I agree. I do same thing. But some of techniques described here are too backward and perhaps futile expense of time.

I all the companies that I have been dealing with, they adopt their own style of symboling indeed. Each will follow certain conventions to avoid serious mistakes.
