Two achievement awards are not open to nominations: the Jim Williams Contributor of the Year and the Lifetime Achievement Award. Traditionally, EE Times and EDN editors nominate and select lifetime achievement award winners. Past winners include Gordon Moore (2005), Morris Chang (2009), and last year, Ken Smith and Laura Fujino, for their work on the International Solid State Circuits Conference (ISSCC). Linear Technology sponsors the Jim Williams Contributor of the Year Award, named after the popular analog engineer who did much to explain analog engineering during his lifetime.
EE Times and EDN editors as well as independent judges from the across the industry will judge the awards. Finalists will be announced June 10th. Go to our ACE Awards site more information about judging and award criteria.
