APEX may predominantly be an assembly show, but supply chain and materials management are on the very top of the visitors’ agendas as the deal with changes in tariffs, challenges with counterfeits, and of course, severe component shortages. It turns out that more line efficiency is lost due to missing or incorrect inventory at the SMT line than pretty much any other issue.
