SAN FRANCISCO — Arrow Electronics Inc. (NYSE: ARW) officially unveiled a robust program around social-media enablement and lead generation that is available to North American solution providers authorized to sell Oracle technology.
“Given social networking now pervades not only personal life but also the business environment, social media can be effective vehicles for identifying new prospects and new sales opportunities,” said Tom Colleary, vice president of the North American Oracle business within Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions segment. “This training helps solution providers incorporate social media in their demand-generation activities.”
The Arrow social media lead-generation programs provide sales- and marketing-focused enablement training for using social media sites to advertise, brand, prospect, generate leads and track sales and marketing activities, such as thorough monitoring, audience development and dashboard measurement. All content is delivered through Arrow’s dedicated Oracle enablement and demand-generation online “channel,” where solution providers also can post videos, participate in live webinars, access informational material and engage in online conversations with Arrow and Oracle’s technical team.
