I know all that. My focus has not been on business politics, or in consumer preferences but in a sustainable supply chain management model, which shows consistently good in Wallmart, even pushing its suppliers with a sustainable program initiative to become more sustainable. That has merit, from my point of view.

@Susan Walmart does not enjoy the best of reputations in the US. For people of a certain political bent, everything Walmart does is just to further expand its evil empire and exploit more workers. Personally, I think Walmart does do a lot of good and brings affordable products people need to low income areas. Many grocery products, for example, are quite a bit cheaper in Walmart than they are in supermarkets, and the retail locations have expanded their food offerings -- even to make an organic line afforable.
