It's really essential to have maintained, detailed and informative online page of your company to survive in the industry and to be well-known among its customers. To attract editors towards your online pressroom, it should contain information regarding your performance and upcoming products in the market.

Waquas, there is no doubt about that. But the question is where they have to keep it posted. Due to the influence of social medias now a day's most of the companies are giving priority to update their news and related things in social networking pages than their own websites.

"Every successful tech company has an online pressroom as part of their website. But does it work? If not, you are throwing good money after bad. How much time and money does your company spend to promote your business, your services, technologies, and products to the media -- magazines, blogs, and industry trades?"

Mark, you are right. Most of the companies have the pressroom with old press release notes and news. They won't update it frequently and I think the major reason may be their presence in social networking medias. Most of the companies have PR & news update section in such social medias and they used to update it regularly.
