We are already aware of the fact that different weather conditions affect businesses worldwide regardless of their severity. The impact is even greater for businesses that get physically in contact with the weather. There really isn't much to workaround with except to simply accept the situation and come up with a service recovery plan. It will most likely incur additional costs but it is to keep their customers intact.

Man, until we learn how to teleport things from one place to another, we will always be at the mercy of the weather won't we? I just read today that they managed to beam a proton from Earth up to a space station, so perhaps we might not be too far away from it. Although judging by the rate that we manage to do things, we still might not be seeing teleportation happen anytime within our lifespans yet...
