Over the past 25 years, Puneet Saxena has worked closely with global manufacturing companies across a variety of industries solving complex supply chain problems. He currently serves as group vice president of product strategy, supply chain planning. Prior to that he served as vice president of Industry Strategy, responsible for defining the company's solution strategy to address evolving supply chain needs of the manufacturing segment.  

In delivering business value to his clients, Puneet has focused on improving Network Design, Sales & Operations Planning, Collaborative Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, Master Planning, Replenishment Planning, Factory Planning, Supplier Collaboration, Order Promising and Fulfillment processes. In this role, he has helped consumer products companies comprehend and plan for volatile demand better, automotive companies schedule assembly lines more effectively, semiconductor companies drive integrated business plans cross-functionally, industrial companies utilize manufacturing assets more efficiently, and more broadly, has helped companies enable seamless supply chains across suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers and end-customers and consumers. 

Prior to working at JDA, he was a Consulting Practice director at i2 Technologies, Inc. and worked as a client executive and advisor at several global manufacturing companies.  Earlier in his career, Puneet worked as a Manufacturing Manager at semiconductor fabrication facilities at Harris Corporation, where he led self-directed-work-teams across 24x7 advanced manufacturing operations.

Puneet holds MS-Engineering and MBA degrees from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio and an undergraduate engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India. He is a co-author of the book, Leading the Way to Competitive Excellence – The Harris Mountaintop Case Study (Editor William Levinson; ASQ Quality Press 1997).  Puneet is certified as a Jonah from the Avraham Goldratt Institute in New Haven, Connecticut, creators of the Theory of Constraints.  He has contributed many thought leading articles across business journals and trade publications.
