PHOENIX, Ariz. — Avnet Logistics, the global logistics and warehousing arm of Avnet, Inc. A 15-year veteran of the electronics industry, Brenner is responsible for Avnet’s warehousing and logistics infrastructure, supporting Avnet’s multi-billion dollar business in the Americas.

“Bob has established an exceptional track record that has accelerated productivity and driven higher service levels,” said Smith. “His vision, experience, and remarkable focused energy will continue to drive the expansion of our global logistics infrastructure in Latin America, while continuing to refine our established operations in the U.S. and Canada.”

Brenner joined Avnet in July 2008 as global vice president of quality and was promoted to vice president of warehousing logistics and distribution in August 2010. He received his bachelor’s degree from National University and a master’s in business administration from University of Redlands, Calif. Prior to joining Avnet, Brenner held progressively more responsible engineering and management positions at General Dynamics and McDonnell Douglas/Boeing, in addition to broad experience in the technology distribution industry.

“I am excited about this new opportunity and the challenges it brings,” says Brenner. “Avnet has an exceptional global logistics team that I will be drawing upon as we expand our logistics infrastructure in the Americas.”
