Avnet Offers iPhone App

PHOENIX — Tech-savvy purchasing professionals and design engineers now have a faster way to check orders from Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, with a free Supply Chain Central (SCC) application for iPhone users.

Avnet’s SCC Mobile application is currently available in English from iTunes and is compatible with the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. To find the application in iTunes, search using the keyword “Avnet.”

Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, a business region of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), is the world’s largest distributor of electronic components and embedded solutions. This free application enables users to wirelessly access their account to manage their supply chain on the go. Features of the Avnet SCC Mobile application include:

  • Comprehensive view of orders.
  • Option to view order status by purchase order number, sales control number, customer part number, manufacturer name, manufacturer part number, buyer name, ship date, required date, invoice number and carrier name.
  • Users can also get order details and view tracking information from FedEx or UPS.
