IRVINE, Calif. — Brandman University's School of Extended Education, the entrepreneurial division of Brandman University, today announced its partnership with APICS Orange County. APICS is the world's leading professional association for supply chain and operations management. Along with the APICS Orange County chapter, Brandman will offer a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) exam preparation course at its Irvine campus, open to members of the public as well as APICS members.
“Our collaboration formalizes a long-standing working relationship with the APICS community,” says Vicki Brannock, senior director at the School of Extended Education. “In an increasingly global economy, supply chain management is more crucial than ever. We're happy to work in conjunction with APICS to keep local supply chain professionals up-to-date with the latest industry standards and certifications.”
The APICS CSCP course provides a global end-to-end view of supply chain management and teaches supply chain professionals to implement critical strategies for maximizing profits and growth. The course covers three modules: Fundamentals of Supply Chain Management; Supply Chain Strategy, Design and Compliance; and Implementation and Operations. Course participants learn both proven and cutting-edge strategies for enhancing customer satisfaction and improving bottom-line results.
