Future Electronics Will Have Future Connectivity Division

MONTREAL — On July 17, 2013 Future Electronics, the world’s third largest distributor of electronics components, formally announced its new division, Future Connectivity Solutions. This new division provides dedicated Marketing, Sales, Technical Sales and solutions support for the rapidly growing machine-to-machine marketplace. Future Connectivity Solutions was announced earlier this week to employees worldwide and is being rolled out across all of the company’s operations over the coming weeks.

“Future Electronics has a long history of providing focused and dedicated support to emerging vertical segments such as solid-state lighting and energy solutions. We believe that our customers’ increasing desire to enhance wireless options for their own products validates the need for a unique and focused service model,” said Dan Casey, Executive Vice President of Global Engineering at Future Electronics.

Along with a dedicated product marketing team, Future Connectivity Solutions also has a team of dedicated Sales Managers and dedicated Wireless Advanced Engineers. “The availability of dedicated resources and highly specialized experts who completely understand the wireless ecosystem is something customers have requested and we are now delivering,” Casey added.

The new identity organizes and rationalizes the company’s wireless focus under a single division and allows it to provide the necessary guidance and support to its existing and emerging customer base. “We have the unique ability to customize our product offering and solution support to meet the varying capabilities of our customer base. Essentially, our product and design support ranges from wireless ICs to highly sophisticated modular solutions, regardless of the protocol,” explained Kelly Murphy, Director of Worldwide Marketing for Future Connectivity Solutions.
