Heilind Offers Autosplice Clips

WILMINGTON, Mass. — Heilind Electronics, the largest interconnect distributor in North America, is now stocking maxi, midi and mini shield clips from Autosplice.

Autosplice maxi, midi and mini shield clips are a cost-effective alternative to hand soldering. The miniaturized design allows for tape and reel packaging compatible with standard high-speed placement equipment.

RFI shield clips can be placed anywhere on the PCB, thus eliminating the need for extra holes and saving valuable PCB real estate. These shield clips are equipped with four independent spring contacts, allowing for shield removal and replacement for rework and tuning. Autosplice shield clips eliminate EMI/RFI shield post soldering operations and utilize a standard top pick vacuum nozzle.

“We're pleased to be able to offer our customers Autosplice's line of shield clips,” said Doug Fancy, Heilind Supplier Business Manager. “The characteristics of this line make it an easy choice for anyone searching for the right shield clips.”

Heilind will also be stocking the recently introduced microminiature shield clip. Although primarily designed for the hand-held device market, the microminiature shield clip can be used in any application where space is a premium. Like its larger family members, the microminiature is supplied in standard EIA tape and reel for easy pick and place.

Heilind also has an extensive inventory of Autosplice connectors, solderball pins, terminals and crimping products.
