Manufacturing as we know is an industry that requires a lot of time and effort to ensure consistent operations. As such, it requires aides in various forms to increase efficiency without incurring a lot more costs than initially worked out. This is how digital transformation can save the day within this sector.

I actually reckon that the lack of proficient professionals stalls our markets by so much. It's hard to train people quick enough to learn how to take over the movers and the shakers enough so that we can continue to move on to better things. Hopefully the companies will realise these gaps and aim to do something about it with more prepared-ness!
