Mouser Stocks Fairchild Controllers

Fairchild Semiconductor FAN102MY primary-side PWM controllers significantly simplify power supply designs that required constant-voltage (CV) and constant-current (CC) regulation capabilities. FAN102MY PWM controllers control the output voltage and current precisely with the information in the primary side of the power supply, removing the output current sensing loss and eliminating all secondary feedback circuitry. The green-mode function with a low startup current (10µA) maximizes the light-load efficiency so the power supply can meet stringent standby power regulations. Fairchild Semiconductor FAN102MY PWM controllers feature fixed PWM frequency at 42kHz with frequency hopping to reduce EMI. Compared with conventional secondary-side devices, the FAN102MY reduces total cost, component count, size, and weight while boosting efficiency, productivity, and system reliability. The Fairchild FEB226 and FEB227 Evaluation Boards for the FAN102MY are isolated, primary-side regulated off-line AC/DC converters (power supply) in flyback technology. The FEB226 and FEB227 have a universal input voltage range of 85VRMS to 265VRMS at a line frequency of 50Hz to 60Hz. These evaluation boards have one constant current output, selectable between 350mA and 700mA, both at a maximum output voltage of 17V. The output current can easily be changed by changing one resistor.
