ATLANTA — The National Electronic Distributors Association (NEDA) presented select members with some of the association’s highest honors during the recent the 2010 NEDA Executive Conference in Chicago.
Steve Kaufman of Harvard Business School and formerly CEO of Arrow Electronics was honored with NEDA’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
Jim Bruorton, Kemet Electronics Corp., received the Gail S. Carter Award – a prestigious award that acknowledges an electronic distribution executive who has made significant contributions to the distribution industry.
The association also presented Distinguished Service Awards to five hard-working members:
- Gan Arnold, Brothers Electronics
John Denslinger, Murata Electronics NA
Don Elario, Arrow Electronics
Dr. Richard Meznarich, University of Nebraska-Kearney
Eric Sussman, Molex
Additionally, Murata Electronics and Maxim Integrated Products were named Manufacturers of the Year. The honor is awarded to manufacturer members that demonstrate a strong, on-going commitment to distribution.
