project44 has launched an expanded integration into MercuryGate TMS that brings full-lifecycle automation and unprecedented end-to-end visibility to Full Truckload and Volume LTL shipments. This latest solution joins project44’s existing LTL portfolio within the MercuryGate TMS to deliver a comprehensive, multimodal offering to users.
project44 originally integrated its LTL solutions to MercuryGate in 2016. These new capabilities have been developed in response to strong customer demand for a single-source of accurate, real-time multimodal transportation data within this best-in-class TMS. Ultimately, the partnership provides users with the ability automate the execution of Rating, Transit Time, Tender, Visibility, and Document Retrieval to dramatically increase speed to market vs. legacy technology, and efficiently cut costs. Most importantly, it improves how users can leverage real-time data into actionable insights across their entire linehaul.
Global configurations like this allow for companies of any size to quickly leverage cutting-edge technology directly through the MercuryGate TMS. MercuryGate CEO and Co-Founder, Monica Wooden comments, “The expanded multimodal partnership allows MercuryGate to meet our customers’ needs with innovative, agile and seamless solutions that help our users accomplish their business goals, and achieve speed to market faster than they could with older, legacy technology.”
“project44’s platform allows us to embrace modern technological capabilities without having to devote significant internal development resources,” says Vice President of Logistics at CFI Logistics Bill Carter. “Most importantly, given the breadth of project44’s multimodal reach, we can reap those efficiencies across multiple business units, significantly increasing internal process alignment and consistency of information.”
“We knew that we needed to have real-time visibility into every single SKU and every box in our supply chain, and instantly became inspired by project44’s multimodal strategy within MercuryGate’s API-enabled TMS,” says Elaine Singleton, VP, Supply Chain, Technicolor. “project44’s integration into MerucryGate allows us to collect real-time information from our carriers and automatically match it with our inventory databases. Expanding that picture from LTL into other modes is a huge win and will ensure we know the location and content of every in-transit shipment in our supply chain.”
This announcement comes just months after MercuryGate awarded project44 their Technology Alliance of the Year. MercuryGate was among the first of project44’s TMS integrations in a partnership that continues to develop as project44 capabilities rapidly expand.
