Whether you are pulling together a big thank you banquet for your best suppliers and business partners or a simpler holiday do for the supply chain management department, planning a super event can be complicated and time consuming.
In fact, eight out of 10 companies report that they are planning a holiday get-together this year, according to the 2015 Holiday Party Survey done by global outplacement consultancy Challenger, Gray & Christmas Challenger, Gray & Christmas. And 13% of those surveyed said that they are having their first holiday party after one or more years of skipping a celebration.
“Most industries are enjoying the fruits of a growing economy. Most employers want to celebrate and reward their employees for their contribution to continued success,” said John A. Challenger, chief executive officer of Challenger, Gray & Christmas in a written statement.
The same mobile devices that are making day-to-day business and supply chain tasks can also simplify party planning.
