FORT WORTH, Texas — Paul Andrews Jr., TTI President and CEO, announced today that Mike Morton has been promoted to President of TTI North America, overseeing all North American operations. The promotion is effective October 1, 2010.
Mr. Morton joined TTI in 1978 as a buyer when TTI still operated as Tex-Tronics. Mike excelled in all aspects of purchasing including inventory control, operations, and supplier relations. He quickly moved up to oversee TTI’s product department. Since that time Mike has been involved in all aspects of TTI’s operations and has been instrumental in the overall success of the company. As President of TTI, North America, Mr. Morton now assumes the additional responsibility for North American sales.
Mr. Gene Conahan’s role will change to head up TTI’s international businesses. In addition to his current role as President, TTI Europe, effective January 1, 2011, Gene will assume the role of acting President, TTI Asia.
Beginning in the fourth quarter, Mr. John Davidson will begin assisting Mouser Electronics as they extend their global presence in Asia. Over the past 10 years, Mr. Davidson established the TTI presence in Asia, building the TTI Asia organization to 11 branch locations serviced by three warehouses and over 250 employees. John will continue as a Senior Vice President while assuming his additional responsibilities with Mouser.
