FORT WORTH, Texas — TTI, Inc. announced today that “The Specialist” has been selected as the new company spokesperson. Followers of the “Big Job” advertising campaign chronicled by the selection process videos will recognize The Specialist as the Johnny-on-the-spot figure that stealthily seems to appear when he’s needed most. Selected from a myriad of candidates in a close race for the elite position to be TTI’s branded icon, the crafty Specialist edged out a deep-talking parakeet named Preston and a smart fun-loving bundle of components known by the Italian sounding name of Robotti (although some thought his name was pronounced Robo- T-T-I).
Michael Knight, TTI Vice President Corporate Product Management, summed up the selection in the following statement, “This character called “The Specialist” that has been selected to be our spokesperson embodies many of the traits of TTI including a laser-like focus on the customer, a deep commitment to getting the job done, offering creative problem solving and a high level of training and job specific knowledge. He’ll be featured in both print ads and video showing him helping our customers to be successful. We would like to see him become as iconic as the gecko character of our sister company, Geico Insurance.”
